We don't worship the bible, we worship Jesus.

The error sweeping the church is the same as it was in the beginning. It comes from those who present the gospel without actually following Jesus themselves. From those that are still trying to use it for their own self centered gain. These false teachers will inevitably lead many others to a perverted system of belief without the need for a savior because quite frankly they teach others to save themselves. They celebrate empty professions of faith without any fruit of repentance and undermine the very place of Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives. There lies are corrupting the bride like a cancer,  because instead of repentance, instead of teaching to turn back to God's ways, instead of changing hearts and minds towards God, this new trend actually uses Jesus and their own carnal and worldly understanding of "love" to exploit the grace of the cross to perpetuate the continuation of sinning under the guise of this false doctrine "not by works". The crazy part is that they're usually promoting a works based salvation themselves. They say read the Bible to know God, go to church, and then make sure you tithe to us. C'mon, I say wake up church!!!!!!

This is not what Jesus actually said. Here is some of what Jesus did actually say, "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” Matthew 7:24-27 Or again here in the gospel of John, "And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in Him who sent me. And whoever sees me sees Him who sent me. I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has Himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak. And I know that His commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me.” John 12:44-50 Was Jesus confused? I don't think He was. I think He meant EVERY SINGLE WORD HE SPOKE. Unless we change the way we think as a whole, we will have a very rude awakening on the day that we meet Him face to face. I do believe in unconditional love and He's shown it hasn't He? I mean, we're still here aren't we? He sent Jesus didn't He? He's already made the way, but we've gotten just a little off course. We've gone our own way. I know one thing for sure, I want to be known by Him no matter what the cost, I'm going to follow the way laid out by Jesus. Just think about it, and read what Jesus actually says Himself in the chapters before these passages. Then apply it to yourself. Faith without works is dead, but Jesus already saw this coming when He explained that the way to destruction was wide but the way to life was narrow, and in His words "there are few that find it". Be transformed, allow His words to penetrate you and seek to walk out what He commands. If you do these things Jesus said that He and the Father would come and make their home in you, and If you don't believe me it's in John chapter 14, read it, It's written in all red. The call is the same today as it was then, will you leave it all to follow Him?
